Help Desk Support Technician – 2nd Shift
Responsibilities:
Assist with set up, troubleshooting and routine maintenance of company hardware and software on site and for remote users via phone and other support resources. Including but not limited to: -Laptops, desktops and thin clients -Printers, faxes and multifunction devices -Application and operating system support for Windows 7 and XP Work with Help Desk Supervisor to escalate trouble tickets when necessary Work with vendors to open and escalate trouble tickets when necessary Use the existing help desk ticketing system and inventory management system for communication and documentation Performs routine work within technical or paraprofessional area. Identifies problems as they occur and suggests appropriate steps to solve them in situations where the problem is not difficult or complex. Seeks advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from others.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:
1-2 years experience in vocational technical training
Skills:
Non-Management Position Basic to Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) – Willingness to learn and use new computer programs/ applications Ability to pay close attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy – Ability to work quickly, accurately and independently in a fast-paced environment Ability to follow procedures and respect confidentiality Ability to communicate detailed or technical information clearly, accurately and concisely
Experience:
Experience interacting with customers/clients No Travel Required
