Title:
Systems Trainer
Responsibilities:
o Manages all aspects of technology training Systems and delivery o Create Standard Operating Procedures and maintain documentation library with recent and updated content o Create Training Videos using Camtasia and maintain a centralized location for ease of accessibility by all users. Maintain updated Video and professional edits o Create professional PowerPoint presentations for use by all trainers o Coordinate all training schedules with staff and their direct reports to minimize downtime. o Auditing current IT resources, including content on the internal Intranet site and web-based training modules, identifying areas where content needs updating and working with subject matter experts and site owners to make updates o Working with subject matter experts and functional organizations to develop specifications and storyboards for training content. Using this content to create web-based training modules for various business groups with a heavy emphasis on training for IT applications o Create marketing and communication videos for Global Retail Information Systems to educate and promote IT applications o Work closely with Corporate Communications to author internal employee communications o Develop job aides and Frequently Asked Questions for IT systems o Coordinate instructor-led training classes and webinars by scheduling classes, enrolling students, preparing class materials, tracking student attendance, running reports, handling classroom logistics, reviewing skill tests o Create surveys to evaluate effectiveness of training programs; analyze survey results and improve training programs o Develop a schedule of regularly communicated IT tips and tricks, research content for communications, and post tips in social community o Ad hoc project requests as it applies to training to Global Information Systems • Project Management o Prepares, plans, and co-ordinates new technology implementation and existing technology upgrades for short and long-term projects. o Determines priorities and assigns projects to staff in conjunction with direct report. o Conducts periodic reviews on on-going projects and rollouts. o Responsible to thoroughly understand and communicate stakeholder requirements to appropriate team members and manage all requirements accordingly with each stakeholder. o Establish clear ownership for project tasks, ensure that team members have the tools needed, and provide timely feedback. o Coordinate and facilitate delivery of project objectives. o Track progress and review project tasks to adhere to deadlines appropriately. o Assess project issues and identify solutions to meet productivity, quality and customer goals. o Proactively communicate project status, issues & risks to management. o Conduct regular status meetings with all stakeholders, keeping the stakeholder’s needs and requirements continuously in view. o Work collaboratively with development team and support team to maintain thorough knowledge of Application/System capabilities, and to ensure that all communications between project team and other stakeholders are precise. o Detail validation of report figures for all report creation projects to ensure that the product is delivered to the stakeholders with accurate data. o Maintain timelines and target dates in Microsoft Project.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:
• BS in related discipline, or advanced degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Relevant industry certifications preferred (i.e. PMP)
Skills:
• Organize and facilitate project planning, daily stand up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, release planning, demos and other agile project related meetings. • Ensure the development teams are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility. • Facilitate productivity by ensuring that the team has tools to succeed. • Find and work to remove development and project roadblocks; motivates the development team and keep them excited to move forward; protects the team from outside distractions. • Manage the team - Ensure that daily, release commitments are being upheld. • Fully supportive of company Values and Principles • Highly organized with great attention to detail. • Must be able to work in a Fast-paced, high-intensity work environment • Ability to pay close attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy-Excellent proof reading and editing skills • Basic or advanced written communication skills • Ability to communicate detailed or technical information clearly, accurately and concisely • Experience interacting with customers, clients and management • Strong communication skills required • Ability to follow procedures and respect confidentiality
Experience:
• 5 to 8 years’ experience as a trainer • Demonstrated ability to prioritize team activities considering overall business direction while setting realistic and achievable goals • Become and remain proficient in all programs necessary to perform the everyday duties of this position. • Proficiency in MS Office Products is required especially Microsoft Project and Outlook • Experience with Camtasia software for training video creations and ongoing edits
Other:
• Ability to travel as needed • Ability to work nights, holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed
