Responsibilities:
Widex and Sivantos joined forces and have together created one of the world’s leading manufacturers in hearing aids, WS Audiology. A substantial share of our hearing aids is sold through WSA’s own retail clinics. In the new joined company, we have defined a new target IT landscape for the retail business with respect to IT systems, support and operations. The purpose is to help our business to improve daily operations and to provide even better services to our customers. We will build the target IT landscape and we will roll it out globally. Your main responsibility is to lead the global support and training team of about 15 employees, and to provide IT support and training for our users in the retail business globally. You will create the organization and the standards for your team. The implementation of your global support and training setup will be done together with the roll-out of the new IT systems.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:
Business or Computer Science degree.
Skills:
Lead the Global Retail Systems Support & Training team. Define global retail standards for support and training. Global roll-out of the Retail Systems support and training template to all WS Audiology retail countries. Define and roll-out a global clinics’ standard together with Infrastructure & Operations Provide great service and training to the retail business globally and make sure that end-user satisfaction is in top. Execute the IT part of clinic openings, closures and mergers. Maintain awareness of industry trends and evaluate applicability of new technologies as they emerge. Provide direction to leadership in identifying new concepts, ideas, techniques, best practices and technologies that can be leveraged to create innovative and effective solutions. Ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within your scope
Experience:
Hands-on experience with IT support and end-user training. Leadership experience. Experience with leading managers will be an advantage. You provide excellent service. Experience with change management will be an advantage. Goal oriented mindset, but not afraid to fail. Strong team player with a self-starter and continuous improvement mindset. Can handle different situations, from proof of concept development to structured operations. Strong consulting, communication and influencing skills. Experience within the medical device industry and/or with retail will be advantages. Experience with indirect management and collaboration with external IT partners. Have an open mind and believe that honesty and transparency result in the shortest route to the best solution for all involved. Fluent in English.
Other:
You will be based in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. You should expect travelling approx. 50-80 days annually to WS Audiology office locations around the globe such as Singapore, Copenhagen, Tokyo and Melbourne
